Reformation Lutheran Church is one of only a handful of congregations across the United States that has been recognized as an Energy Star Award winner. Energy Star is a joint program of the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency and the U.S. Department of Energy helping us all save money and protect the environment through energy efficient products and practices.
As a result of this achievement,
Pennsylvania Interfaith Power & Light would like to recognize Reformation Lutheran Church at their Annual Meeting and Conference: Power for Pennsylvania: Climate Change and Faith-Based Action on Sunday, October 14, in Harrisburg. This annual event is free and open to the public. It is Pennsylvania's largest gathering for people of faith concerned about climate change - a time for interfaith worship, resource gathering, and networking with others who are responding to climate change as a moral issue. The conference promises to have terrific keynote speakers, workshops, and a green fair.
