The Eco-Ministry of Reformation, in association with the pastor, shall oversee the
program of church recycling and education regarding care of God’s creation, including, but not limited to: conservation of energy and consumption, care of earth’s resources, protection of natural habitats and eco-systems, advocacy opportunities, and care and maintenance of church property and buildings regarding good ecological stewardship. It shall encourage the use of teaching and worship materials that promote the themes of ecology, and seek to provide parishioners with opportunities for practicing stewardship of the earth. One
of the primary aims of the committee shall be to hold a worship and educational event for the congregation at least once a year.
